Sick build. Love seeing unorthodox stuff. Gonna make some pretty good jam too being supercharged. Good luck with it.

    Thanks!

Peter text me to tell me the bottom end and heads are assembled. Chains, guides, covers, oil pump, water pump etc will go on tomorrow. The plan is for Peter's business partner to deliver the assembled motor to Trevor on Thursday!! I hope to post photos later this eve when he downloads them!

Edit: Peter was also gracious enough to use his personal alternator for my build. He said the motor is too purdy to use a beat up one. Peter rocks!!

B - I thought you were high up on the Bilstein hater-list! Really surprised to see those in there!

Interesting to see you not going more exotic after the Fortune builds in the last couple cars...

I have learned that coilovers are great for weekend warrior back roads carvers. But on a DD, I prefer a lowering spring with performance strut/shock. I had the Bilstein HD's with UUC's last time and it rode great. Just wasn't low enough in the front. That's why I am going with H&R II's this time.

The motor will be at Trevor's in about an hour. He installed the BBK up front and has everything ready for the S62. This is too exciting!!

Really hope so! My best friend is only in town once a year and will be here the week after. He is the one who picked me up in FL and drove me to pick the car up so would be amazing for him to see it finished.

Just got back from a wedding. Been gone for 7 hours! Got this pic from Trevor while I was there

Why is this not done yet? Its been like 2 weeks. More then enough time to order parts, build a motor, install supercharger and motor, do the custom charge piping, suspension, brakes, wheels, interior, coding and break in.

Your really milkin this whole deal and we are tired of it.

Car is amazing, keep up the great work!!

Thanks, everyone! Hoping Trevor can fire it up tomorrow or Thursday. The goal is to fly down to Charlotte and drive it home on Wed the 21st after Paul puts all the interior back in. But it's going to be tight. If that deadline isn't met, I won't be able to pick it up until the following Wed.

Won't sound like much until I add the e-diverters. Keeping the stock exhaust after the M5 manifolds and cats.

Interesting stuff B - that ESS mount geometry is same as the VF kits, i.e. right side of car / left side of bay (as opposed to a number of the S62 blower kits that use the driver's side...). That's the more PITA side cuz of the expansion tank in some ways but easier to route the intake CAI out the fender. Looks SOOO similar to our setup. ESS hugs the intake pipe closer to the blower however so it looks easier to install/remove/service. And the BPV routing is WAY better than the VF setup.

Great build and engine swap. Love your attention to detail, and I wish I had your engine builder. Mine is very good, but as slow as watching paint dry.

Haha, this one will stay as it is. I might get a custom tune but that's it. I have a new M logo and polished the carbon cover. I wanted to wait to install when I got it back.
