www.carbuyingtips.com recommends that I buy an extended warranty when I buy a used car, but it seems like the these companies (like 1SourceAutoWarranty.com) can't give warranties in CA starting July 1st. WTF?
Anybody know what the situation is?
I just bought a '00 Z3 Roadster from CarMax about a month ago. Bought a 3 year / 36k mile warranty with it. You might check with them if you're looking for a warranty on a non-CPO car.
Then again, I'm in Texas and didn't notice that you were referencing California specifically...
