Change your own set of TPMS wheels with another set

I've got two sets of TPMS run flat set of wheels (winter and summer) and I've been going to a car shop to swap them out twice a year. I assume I can do this myself with a proper jack. The question I have is the TPMS system my MY2014 335 has. Is there more to it than just simply changing the tire much like we did before TPMS was introduced to our cars or is there special care necessary due to the TPMS system?

    Thanks

No special care needed. I have winter and summer sets for my MY2014 320i. Summer set has the TPMS sensors the car came with, and the winter set has a set of sensors bought with the snow tires from Tire Rack (my car is a post-3/2014 production model, btw). I do the twice yearly swap myself; just go into the Vehicle Status menu in iDrive, and select the option for tire pressure monitor reset that's right under the main TPMS option. Select it while you're stopped, and then after a short distance driving everything should be operating normally again (mine normally take about 1-2 miles to fully reset).

    Hope this helps.
    It's ALL ball bearings nowadays!
