Question: how was the M52 bored? I thought they were all aluminum blocks. Reason I'm asking is because I have a high mileage M50 I'm thinking tov rebuild and/or bore, but also a lead on a good low mileage M52, and want the best option for future performance upgrades an maybe FI. Thx

    M52TU/B from the E39/E46. E36 M52s are iron.

Hmm...good to know. So this M52 from a 98 E36 vert that I'm looking at should be iron block?
