Hi there
I just wanted to see what i have in the back of my car (2008 530i with Professional Navi,CCC).
navigation works fine, but i opened the shelf in the trunk and i see that the TCU is missing the blue wire and as far as i know that is for GPS.
My car has BMW Assist, SOS button, so its Telematics version. Is that plug for Telematics use of GPS and it does nothing to do with CCC navigation ?
Thanks
I have an 07 530xiT with the professional NAV and CCC. my TCU (the same version as you i think - not the "high" version) is also missing the blue wire - i have white, black, and purple wires. i believe these three wires go to 1) the roof antenna (for integrated telephone, which I dont have but the connector is at the rear of the center console), 2) the bluetooth module under the center console, and 3) the emergency antenna in the trunk (for the SOS function)
i have a pin out of the connectors on the TCU. PM me if youd like it. it is in powerpoint format.

Thanks, i will send you a PM. I am researching things as i want to retrofit the CIC for stage 1, and later the combox, so i'm looking to see what i have and what not.
The GPS system in the CCC from where it's getting the signal ?
I have a few more questions although this thread doesn't seem fit for changing topics.
I believe the GPS signal for the CCC plugs in directly to the back of the CCC and runs up to the shark fin on the roof
Hello
I have the same connections as you (no blue wire connected on the TCU) with a 2009 328xi but the newer CIC. My Nav is intermittent due to loss of satellite info I believe the coax cable is the problem. Once the cable leaves the shark fin (blue connector) I am trying to trace its path. The only coax connection on the CIC unit is the pink for Sat radio. Do you happen to know where the blue GPS ends up.
Thanks
Your GPS signal goes from the shark fin to connector X13817 on this back diagram:
