More CCA the better, I'd take the first one.

I'd go for the first one too. As an alternative, maybe Exide's EA 852? £78.84 online from ECP but you can probably get a discount code from one of the UK forums

I just ordered here in Japan a AC DELCO LBN5 battery. Not sure if they are sold also in the U.S. or Europe, although ACDELCO belongs to GM.
Size is L=355x W=175x H=175mm, so it fits with a height of 175mm under the single electric rear seat of the 750iL.
    90 Ah, CCA: EN 760, SAE 810.
Price here is shipped abt. $ 130

I recommend Varta Silver Dynamic, but 85Ah - it has 175mm height and has silver technology, that allows to get more Amps at lower temperature. Moreover, self-discharge is lower.
Also, you can buy Bosch S5 85Ah - it the same battery and producing with Varta on single plant. Difference in price and in labels.
I've bought Bosch S5 as it had lower price at the moment. 4 years have no any problems with it even at -25/30 C

I called Mesa Performance Parts (http://mesaperformance.com/fonelist.html) in Costa Mesa, CA and they said they sell Varta batteries. I asked them to provide me the model number and cost for a battery for my 1998 E36 M3 sedan, but the own didn't call back to provide me this info after he said he would need to look it up.
