How to turn off the DSC completely

Hey Forums,

Probably the most repetitive question, but I still have not gotten a solid answer. How do you completely turn off the Dynamic Stability Control/Traction Control? Thank you.

Isn't there a switch to turn it off? Side note I had a body shop call in an order for an e46 m3, tons of body parts, a lot of money. I asked what had happened the driver turned off the dsc in the rain and lost control, plus he worked for bob bondurant driving school.

I heard that it doesn't turn it off completely and I want to be sure because I need it off. I'll give it a shot. Also, i know. I'm doing this in a controlled environment. I'd never drive without traction control in the rain.

I believe you hold the DSC off switch for about 10 seconds to disable it. Should get the dsc off and a red brake light and only ABS will work in that condition.
