Nico has won here in 2014 and in 2015. Think he can do a hat trick this coming weekend? Only 19 point difference now between the two of them.

A win would give Nico the WDC correct?
Yep.

If he wins here, he'll become world champion. Unless if my maths is wrong, he can just finish in top three places in these final two rounds and still be crowned as world champion.
I hope he can muscle up and finish P1. It will all come down to the start as seems to be the trend.
Looking forward to see how Red Bull's race goes.
I guess I could wait till Abu Dhabi but this season is so long that I want it to end now.
Yeah, 2010 was probably the best season we have had in many years. Almost six drivers had the chance to become world champion and four teams as constructors champion. Plus, there were so many winners throughout the season.
2012 came down to the wire too, as I recall.
Thank you for posting this thread so I have something to read besides election coverage.

did you see the press conference, where Charlie Whiting also came in the middle and spoke about the Taco Gate - Vettels out-burst, Hamilton and Verstappen Turn 1 explanation etc?

haha i know, but see the thing with Hamilton is, his fan base is the biggest one nowadays due to him managing his social media and being active on all those apps. You cant blame him for that, gone are the old-school days. Seems to me like he does all this with a plan, and with a media task force employed under him who do most of the work, he is setting himself up very nicely post life after F1. You cant blame the guy for that.
I know we all dont like stupid childish stuff, especially within a press conference, but the way he handled the media outburst when they all went crazy for him taking pics within a certain press conference (I forget which race it was) was great in my opinion, during that press conference the media was ready to devouver him, but i think he handled that drivers press conference brilliantly! and swayed all the questions and came out of it pretty good.
I guess different strokes for different folks!
I want to see Lewis keep the hope alive. Nico is going to have to help him out if Lewis has any chance at the WDC, obviously, but at least if Lewis wins the drama for the last race will be superb. Frankly, I need the distraction. I also love Interlagos. Any rain in the forecast?
Rain is in the forecast for Saturday and Sunday.
Magnussen to Haas is interesting. I know Guitierrez didn't score a point, but to dump him after the season is a bit unexpected.

Because I dislike Hamilton and can see Nico choking at the last race lol.
There's a fear that Hamilton might still win the championship again if Nico fails to finish in top points, so that's why.
Can we wrap this season today and crown Nico WC?
I realized that I cannot live without Formula 1. I cracked and watched FP1, FP2, and the Braun special today.
They were still arguing about the Vettel-Ricciardo incident at Mexico. But Ferrari has said they have new information and "appealed" the decision. Sky started making fun of them when PDR said that it was so marginal he doesn't know why anyone called it.
Then they got Horner on the radio and he said that Ferrari shouldn't appeal, they should do what's best and just bite the bullet I don't think I can count on fingers and toes the number of appeals Horner has performed.
On a side note: Alonso shouldn't give up his driving career to become a remote camera-man. It was a hilarious and he did get to relax in a deck chair.
I predict a Hamilton 1 - Nico 2 finish tomorrow.
Raining with 90 minutes to go, might be mostly dry for the start.
