THere is zero doubt the car stops better threshold breaking than on ABS with the stock system. The issue is being able to modulate the pedal to get it to threshold break all the time. With my pads and Willwoods, I found it really hard to do it. IN a DE type setting, it was bullets. Racing conditions, different story

Hence the MK60 swap. Where I can brake hard, and have the computer do its thing.

How did you go about wiring this? Interested in doing the same in my car.
I stared at the electrical diagram for a while, and decided which input to the ABS computer to disconnect/switch. The input just 'floats' when off. But, I can't remember exactly which one. It'll be easy to see on my car when I get a chance, and I'll report back. Early next week.

Ok..sorry for the delay. On my 95 (Non AST), here's the wire I added a switch to. "ON", the wire is connected as OEM and the ABS works. "OFF", the wire is disconnected and ABS is off. It's somewhat as if the F21 5A fuse has blown. Kinda.

Good work. I think this with no booster would be interesting

Here is the video of the 2:27:17 lap. Still need to find 2 seconds. Theoretical best was 2:26:8.

I have some time in 17 and a little time in 1. Plus I had some wheel spin in the exit of 5. But there’s not 2 seconds there. Maybe half a second.

What is the cage mounted box in the upper right of the frame?

It's the Radio holder. I bring my kids to the track with me. This way they can talk to me while I'm in the car.

Could/ should probably move it somewhere in the center of the car but have been too lazy to do it. In that location it is easy to replace the radio when battery dies, run the wires to the antenna and I can reach it from the seat.

We set it up when the car was forced to run the WRL race last minute last year. Haven't moved it since.
