    Trans knock ?

    Ok I have a 328xi 6m with 128k miles

    Noticed today when I was in line at my favorite lunch drive through a vary noticeable knock while in neutral but as soon as I push in the clutch it goes away. The transmission shifts fine and the clutch is as it was when it was new. Has anyone had an issue like this or do I need to plan for a new transmission.....btw it can be heard from inside the car when next to a wall...any other time you have to listen under the car to hear it
