They both belong to my son. The 07 is a 335i, it's wrecked but runs and can limp around. The 01 is a 330ci, runs and drives but is in poor shape. One of my neighbors mentioned that the 07 might make a good track car but I'm not into that sort of thing. I just know that car was stupid fast.
I appreciate any ideas other than the obvious craigslist.
cheers
Pierre
Pictures didn't come out. Try reloading them.

Take the engines out of both cars and use the e36 engine to power a supercharger and help spool the turbos, use both the supercharger and turbos to boost the 335i engine, build a custom tube chassis to hold it out of PVC pipe to house the engine, spray the cars in graffiti and plant them in the ground and call it art, charge people money to see them and profit.
Or sell them on craigslist
Yeah but... where's the flame thrower gonna go?
That 335 is perfect part out material, people will be racing to get the N54.

Am I missing something. Son's cars, son's problem?
Sell them. Easy. If you can't track and don't have the tools and time to part them out piece by piece, sell them.
Pierre,
Tell your son the next car he gets he will have to work for on his own.
I sold a friend my near mint 525 and after a couple years, he gave it to his son his senior year in HS. Doing an illegal U-turn, he got T-boned by a pick up and the car was totaled.
Four years later, he buys the same son a graduation gift, a nicely optioned Tacoma pick up. With less than 500 miles on the clock, he totaled that one too.
Today, the kid is making payments on a used POS which is all he can afford. The memories of the BMW and brand new Tacoma must be bittersweet.
I'd sell them as parts cars. You are not going to get more than $1500 for the newer one unless you find someone who needs a donor car. Good luck.

I put 'em on CL this afternoon and got 'em both sold already. So happy to get them out of my way.
If they sold that fast they were probably undepriced, but as long as you are happy... Sounds like it was the son's problem anyways
