I think the S62 was a better engine than the S65 ever was. Heck even the M62 made more torque then the S65 does

Since I've been on a wheel shopping kick lately, what do you guys think? Appear to be real RSs, from the crappy pics on fb at least. They were off of a totaled e36 m3, 17 inches? The lip in the picture is obviously gone, and would probably need new lips all around to have them match. Would probably like them powdered white or silver to match the dark blue my car will be. He's asking $700

They've got BBS printed on it. They look good minus the lip on at least the first wheel.

I would have loved a set of those or 5s

I wish there was a decent picture of the centercaps, that's a dead giveaway right there.

Facelift 330i sedan all the way. Looks classy, is practical as a daily driver, doesn't have the reputation that's tied to the Miata (for better or worse), and it's already a familiar car since it's a BMW. The facelift E46 sedans still look quite modern by today's standards.

While its not the best idea, you could find a good driver for 10-11k and throw a couple down on it. It's not financially responsible, but you're in high school/college so f - it. Especially if you want one really bad..

But at this point they'll be settling into vintage classic status finally I think.

Yeah I feel a little concerned about financing a 15 year old car. If I do finance I would lease a brand new 320/328i which I'm considering

ehhhh idk if I would don't like the idea of not building equity in anything

why not an e90 or e92 328 with a six speed they're pretty reliable, was looking at trading in my wrx for an e90 m3 with 100k or so miles but the thing is considering I'm going to college and won't have access to my grandpa's shop I didn't find that to be a responsible idea as if something breaks on my subie I can bring it to any dealer and they'll fix it for free.

Yeah, I hit a guard rail going through a turn and slid out essentially totalling it. Damaging every body panel on right side including the M5 front bumper, rear bumper, quarter panel, doors, fender, hood, damaged headlight and taillight, damaged at least the control arm bushing and a wheel.

reminds me of my friend the other day... we were all cruising on the highway in the rain, not doing anything stupid just cruising at 70 mph, and I look in my mirror and my friend in his imported right hand drive twin turbo z32 is fishtailing all over place and spun across four lanes of traffic and missed the middle retaining wall by about a foot... he's got about 4-5 degrees of camber in the back and was worn down to the cords on the inside of his left rear tire, hit a puddle that had formed in a pothole or something which caused it... one lane to the left and he would've totaled his car
