    BBS RF question

Sup dudes, I'm in the process of looking for new wheels and came across these 5x120 17x8 bbs rf's et40. I don't know much about the rf's other than there basically the sister to the rs's.
The wheels need some love but they have all the hardware and centre caps. For $1600 CAD (approx $1200 USD) are they worth the purchase? How much do rf's usually sell for? And is et40 a pretty high offset? Thanks.

Here's some pics of the wheels-

That wheel has been discontinued for a long time. If they are taken apart you would have no idea whether they are going to be round. You also don't know if everything is there or not. I would not mess with it.
