    2016 X1 - LED Headlight Adjustment?

    Hi all,

Purchased a 2016 X1 last month and it is my first BMW with LED Headlights. The visibility is great on my end however other drivers don't seem to share the same opinion. Driving at night on low beam I'm constantly getting people flashing their high beams at me and flipping the bird. Is this normal due to the different color temperature of the LED lights? Have others with LED lights experienced the same issue?

Interestingly, I took my F36 to get serviced and was given a 440i with LED headlights as well. I don't have any issues with people flashing their high beams at me with that car. I'm guessing because of the lower ride height?

    Any feedback is appreciated.

It's pretty typical for upgraded headlights. It happens to me while driving a sedan, current model pickups, europeans, whatever are quite bright.

I figure the lights were approved by the DOT, I'll drive it as is.
