Did you test fit the sxe with your existing arm? I can tell you a 1.05 EWG 8374 and a 0.92 IWG 9180 hit the motor mount with a high mount rally road arm. Looks like a 1.5 to 2 inch mount is needed. Maybe the sxe are shorter than the efr. The efr hit the mount at the compressor inlet, but they are long turbos.

Here are some photos with the stock arm. Pardon the angles and lighting, I'm doing this on jack stands.

Couple things to note, I'm going to have to grind a little of the comp housing. I'm surprised you guys were able to get a efr in there. I thought the housings were the same size. To run a filter I'll need a different arm (that's a given), but I could run a screen no problem. I have condor solid motor mounts, I may need to shave off a couple millimeters after doing the compressor housing.

You guys should copy Dasboots motor mount, that if you're going solid. His looked simple.

The stock arm is not usually an option with any bottom mount turbo. Will a stock motor mount clear the turbo inlet? Aftermarket motor mounts are available as narrow as about 2.4 inches. With the EFR, even 2.4 inches is too fat.

For a solid arm, you can make whatever you want. A bolt with a stack of washers would probably work.

I'm trying to figure out if the rally road high rise arm will work with this setup.

I don't mind grinding off some of the bushing material. As of now there is a little gap, but once the compressor housing is taken care of, I expect the inlet would contact the mount.

So I ended using my stock motor mount arm, and using the stainless mesh screen I was using before. I cut my condor motor mount in half, and did a little grinding to the compressor housing and everything went in.

So downpipe and dump tube are down, charge pipe is done, all that is left is to Retorque my head and charge up the a/c, then I'm back on the road.

I might have you do that in future.

I'm always down for runs. We have a group that meets up on Tuesday nights up here. It a small group, and anything from 110-170 trap cars. It's been busy lately, might have to get Erv to come up again too if you decide to.

Well good news and bad news. The good news is, this sxe with the steed spools wayyyy faster than the old 366. I'm super happy. The transient response is also much better. The bad news is, it just randomly shut off while driving and I had to tow it back to the house. Sounds like I don't have any spark, I can smell fuel while cranking. Probably something dumb.

I can't wait to see a dyno on this. From the looks of the maps they should all do really well

Me too! I just need to figure what is going on. I actually do have spark, but injectors aren't arming/firing.

It died right after I let off the gas doing a pull. Injectors have no power.

Does an e36 use a dedicated fuse or relay for the injectors?

Not that I know of. It's very strange because everything else works.

Excited to see how that turbo does. When the time comes to replace my 366 that is the one I had in mind. What exhaust housing are you using with it?

The injectors are powered off a keyed relay. Test the voltage at the hot side of the relay. If its got power jump the relay and make sure the injectors are still getting power. Could be as simple as a loose connector.

You're talking about the main relay, right? I hope its a loose connector somewhere, I like simple fixes lol

I pulled a plug and verified spark, so I would assume both are fine.

Check for power on red/white wire at TPS, it is pulled from the same splice. That splice is fed power via another splice that originates from the main relay. I can put the diagrams up here if need be.
Back into a BMW, this time a track rat....and it won't be BMW powered and no, not a V8 either!
Couldn't help myself, boosted e36 m52 street car in progress also!
