Contact the dealer - they should have access to the code. I do not know of any other source other than the dealership.

Sometimes the code is attached to the radio chassis. Pull the radio and look.
what type of radio do you have?
Depending on the brand, you can find it online.
My radio is the Philips branded one (BMW variant I've forgotten what it is). I found a website where you put your serial number and someone (with a key generator) will produce the code for you. Hope that helps.
Yes there are a few sites on the internet that can get you the code, cost me $20 last time, they emailed the code as soon as 1 payed.
I didn't have to pay when I got mine.

Try 33216
Well...
Did it work?
33216? That's my code!
If you have tried unsuccessfully 3 times it will lock you out. You then have to turn the radio on with the key in position 2 for at least an hour then you can try again. I just had to do this.

You sure you didn't enter the wrong code too many times?

Thanks Olin but I tried the 33216 and it is not correct. I saw your attachment with the code for the serial number but it is still not correct. The serial number that I posted is correct as the radio shows that serial number.
I appreciate your help. I don't know where you got that number .... but it is not correct.

OP: Do you have a pic of the radio label/serial #?
Some Blaupunkt radios use code 64616 for North America.

You pulled that Serial from the service menu, right? Won't cut it...
You have to physically pull the unit and read the FULL Serial...
Reviving a very whole thread in now trying to find the code for my 1995 840CI.
