I posted the above links mostly for informational sake and reading enjoyment and of course opening more discussion.
As far as Vettel's radio - if there was really a large issue why televise it in the first place? If the outbursts and language was so vulgar to the point of being penalized, it shouldn't have been broadcast. But seeing as how this is also part entertainment, of course they release the audio. Don't give out or threaten with penalties if what you are releasing (post-screening) is bringing you viewers. (IMO)

Been done with Sky and their "experts" for some time now.
Welp, in another news and away from this race and drama, it seems that Ross Brawn has been signed by Liberty Media and will probably be heading the F1 sport, and eventually succeeding Bernie Ecclestone.
They don't even try to hide their biases.

Bottas officially still on at Williams; Lance Stroll the 2nd driver.
Gonna be fun to watch, esp. if the team can give them a good car next season.

I think I read that because Renault is only giving a one year contract is probably the reason why Bottas decided to stick at Williams. Williams have been quite disappointing for me now. Force India are doing great. They have the speed and they appear to have better traction out of corners. Williams only have speed but overall not a great car.
Yeah, with next year f1 bringing a major aero overhaul Adrian Newey should be happy. Lol. It will definitely be interesting to see how the teams cope with all the new tyre and aero rules. While all that will be happening, I say Fia should also change ... which is yet to be seen.
I like the changes they are making for 2017.
It's the change they are not making until at least 2020 which irks me. The engines have got to go.

If you spend more than the spending cap, then that amount is deducted from your year end payout by the series. Teams that are under get to split that "overage" pot. Some arrangements would have to be made for teams that build cars and engines (assuming ongoing engine development), but that shouldn't be too hard to figure out.
There are more than a million ways to get around a spending cap.
BMWs are fun in the snow too...
