2016 Tortilla (Mexican) GP Hermanos Rodriguez Circuit

As long as Rosberg finishes in top three places he should be able to secure his first ever championship title and will probably be the second driver in F1's history as having a father/son world championship titles (Graham Hill in 1962, 1968 & Damon Hill in 1996). Keke Rosberg winning in 1982.

Lewis Hamilton will have to win all three remaining races in order to secure his fourth title and equal Alain Prost all time record.

Even if Lewis wins all remaining races, Rosberg can still get two 2nd place and one 3rd and be champion.

Will be an interesting set of final races.

Yep, just saying that he has to try and win all three races and hope that Rosberg finishes outside of top three places.

Yeah, though I would like to see Rosberg authoritatively win the championship with some #1 finishes rather than coast through the season in P2.

I think Rosberg will be doing exactly that. Win all three races in a row. In fact, he will be trying his utmost best to be on pole from now on.

That's what I would do. Gives you the advantage in team strategy calls and puts you 1 spot farther away from the 20 other yahoos on the track at the start.

    Predictions:

Gutierrez and Perez have a great duel to close out the race and end up on the podium, with Vettel at the top step. Both RBs are taken out by Kvyat at the start, and Massa hits Alonso after the 1st round of pits stops and receives a penalty.

Both Mercs fail to start the race after having engine failures leaving for the recon lap.

    One can wish, right?

I honestly just want Nico to win the ship, so that we will not be as much of a cry baby anymore. Of course that didn't do much for Hammy so...

I think Nico has grown up a lot this year, especially in the second half of the season. He seems like a pretty serious driver now.

Agreed - he seems like he's stopped playing into the Hamilton imposed psyche game, and has taken his own path this season. I would like for him to win this year's title.

^He deserves it. No one's won 9 races in a season and failed to win the title.

If only he took himself less seriously, he'd be a lot easier to like.

Have you watched the "Grill the Grid" series? His is the only one that isn't even remotely entertaining. He just looks completely put-upon by the whole endeavor. All the other drivers are cracking up and having fun.

Only Ferrari could run at the front during Q1 and Q2 then drop so far off for Q3

I guess they were one of the few ones being able to switch on their tires then, and in Q3 they weren't able to any more while others did...

    Strange quali.

But then again I wasn't too excited anyway, it's all about the race.

SKY commentators can once again go F themselves. WTF "Rosberg should give that place back to Verstappen"????

Verstappen should get a penalty for trying to punt Rosberg out of the race!! What the hell kind of driving is that??

No further action required. Good thing Grundle and Crofty don't run the show.

Rosberg is going fast enough, but nevertheless his pace is very unconvincing. Constantly 0.5 sec slower than Hamilton, and Red Bulls and Ferraris going as fast as him. Without any excuse, other than possible damage from Verstappen's ramming.

    - - - Updated - - -

The Williams cars specialising in ruining other teams' race today, lol!

Sure, they're 'competing against those other cars', but not really. Just holding them behind until the next pit stops and then those guys will be much faster and they'll never see them again during the race.

    - - - Updated - - -

Well, Rosberg improved his pace now. Maybe didn't like the balance and/or tires he had on earlier.

    - - - Updated - - -

Look at how long Vettel has gone on that set of tires, and how fast his lap times are! Could he challenge the Red Bulls later on?

    - - - Updated - - -

Vettel's lap times on those soft tires, at this point after 30 laps is pure magic!

    - - - Updated - - -

Perez's brakes are rollin' coal at this point. Well, maybe they'll last a whole GP driving right behind Massa...

    - - - Updated - - -

What does Ferrari do in this situation? Kimi hasn't been slow, but Vettel's long drive at great pace on the Softs got him right behind Kimi and with muuuuch newer tires. That tactic surprisingly gave him huge gains. So logically Seb's in a better position to go after the Red Bulls...

    - - - Updated - - -

Vettel is gonna punch Verstappen after the race...

    - - - Updated - - -

    And Verstappen deserves it.

All Verstappen knows is bitch moves when his driving isn't fast enough.

    - - - Updated - - -

HAHA, let's jeer at Verstappen as he walks home in front of the tens of thousands, after his pathetic attempt at cheating!HAHAHAHAH!!!

Under the podium in the crowds, the Ferrari team is laughing and chanting something about Charlie, lol.
