Hey all,
Could use some help diagnosing this issue. I’ve been hearing a ticking noise from either front wheel when it is under medium to heavy loading (fast cornering, downhill). The ticking is less pronounced when the car is cold. The ticking comes from the opposite side from the direction I turn. The frequency and speed stay constant but the amplitude increases with loading. The sound comes from both sides, but it’s more pronounced on the right. I’ve uploaded a video where you can hear the noise here: https://youtu.be/bZodI0tQHK0
Details about the car:
2011 M3 sedan
dual clutch gearbox
competition package
~72000 miles (I bought the car used with 66000 miles last year)
Not sure what previous owner did to car in terms of modifications, I have done nothing yet.
Never heard that before. Sorry, can't help you there.
Good luck.
