2013 335 XI. Time to ditch OEM pirelli Runflats.
Live in Boston area.
Two options
Michelin PILOT SPORT A/S 3+ (W- OR Y-SPEED RATED)
or
Pirelli CINTURATO P7 ALL SEASON PLUS
Quick differences:
Treadwear rating seems better on Michelin than Pirellis. (9.4 vs 8.7)
However, treadlife warranty on Michelin is 6years/45k vs pirelli unlimited/70k.
Pirellis are way better in snow traction.
Looking for only all season tires and no winter tires.
What's your recommendation folks. Appreciate any suggestions.
Compared on tirerack
The tires are really different types of tires. The AS3+ is a lot better handling tire with a 45K mileage warranty. They do have some winter traction but I would say they will be good in light snow. This new version has 28% better traction than the tire it took the place of. The Pirelli will give better ride quality, longer life, 70K, and better winter traction. Both would be good option and both are better riding than the run flats. If you are looking for performance the Michelin is the clear winner. If not the Pirelli is the better riding and better foul weather traction.
If I can help let me know.
How about their wet/rain performance?
Which is quieter?
I am debating the two as well.
I drive my car hard on occasion but I am sure I'll fail well i hit the limit of either tire.
I am looking for a quiet with good wet traction (live in pacific northwest and we get some rain here ) that I can drive a little harder in the mountains.
Should add I have a set of winter boots for the car so snow ice traction not a concern..

Continental DWS 06 is the all-season for all our cars.
I really don't think one is quieter than the other. The Super Sport is still better handling in the wet than the AS3+. If you have the winter tires I would go with the Super Sport. The real advantage for you of the AS3+ would be longer tread life.
If I can help let me know.
