I had my ABS module checked and was ok. My module is behind the glove box not in the ABS pump. I replaced all my abs sensors so now all faults for the front sensors are gone. Now im having codes for the ABS pump motor and pre charge pump motor and yaw sensor. What i did was i checked the wires for power when ever i activate the precharge pump and abs pump thru inpa and i was getting power when ever i activate them, i wired direct 12v to the precharge and abs pump and was not getting any respond from the motors. I cant find any of the 2 motors here in the breaker and i dont want to buy new ones which will cost an arm and a leg. Questions are, did anyone tried to repair the abs and precharge motors? 2nd where is the yaw sensor for the e38 and how can i test it? Dsc light remains on abs light goes out during start up but when i mover a couple of meters it turns on. Sorry for the long post and TIA.
Never heard of a precharge pump repair because it is very easy to get a used one here.
The yaw rate sensor is located under the left front seat, under the carpet.
Thanks for the reply. Its hard to source out used parts for the e38 here in manila, how about the abs motor is there a way to repair it? Been searching google and cant find one on how to repair it. I cant figure out how both motors failed. Maybe the previous owner never had a chance to activate it? Or because of the low kms on it (68,553kms.)

Hello again guys, i have successfully repaired my precharge pump for almost $20 parts and labor. Problem was the bearing was seized and brush was gone. After cleaning and replacing the parts bench tested was working. I installed it in the car and used inpa to activate it and it worked. Now, here's my other problem. When i took out the abs motor it is fine and working. But keep getting fault of abs pump fail. But when i apply direct power to the abs pump it works. Theres no power comming from the harness. Before i take the dsc module out from the glove box is there any other place i should check on what powers the abs pump? Fuse? Pump relay? Whenever I reset the fault abs light goes out, and reappears when car is moved. I keep getting abs pump fail and yaw sensor.

There is an ABS pump relay, K94 - it lives here in the EBox:

Thank you for the reply. Ill replace the relay. Then ill update.
Success! Abs pump now works and precharge pump. The problem was the wires of the abs relay was corroded and one wire was disconnected. Cleaned and resolded now Abs works. No more abs light. Though DSC light is still on. Code is angular rate sensor which i guess is the yaw sensor.

Hi Timm, my pre charge pump has the pressure sensor fitted to it unlike most E38 / E39 pumps. I have a working pump without sensor so was looking at making a good pump from the 2 - Any advice greatly appreciated abs2.jpg
Well, I haven't seen one like that before - no wonder you want to get it repaired. I've never tried to change just the motor, at fifty quid for a replacement it wasn't worth the trouble. You can change the motor on the earlier ASC+T blocks, so I can't see why it can't be done to the E38 one.
