This shot shows the underside removed as an edit from the original. This is the only change from the oem shape. It is hidden upon installation.
BMW used a solid hunk of fiberglass reinforced plastic. Ours is in 2 halves welded together to save on weight.
The bottom cured at a different rate and would deform the piece. Now at a point in the cure that's safe, the bottom part you see cut out, is removed. Curing continues and we have a stable spoiler that keeps its shape oem. I would have preferred to use a solid piece but costs made it unreasonable. The argument for a solid piece is only backed by my "feelings" I'm told that once cured, this piece has all the support needed to keep its shape and not sag.

I think I need to reduce the file sizes... Sorry.
I have 9 out of 10 that just arrived.
Shipping internationally can be insanely expensive depending on where you are located. The prices also vary day to day. I'm thinking of doing a special ebay ad to take advantage of their international shipping services. The rates will be much better and it'll include insurance and a money back option built-in. Just thoughts.
I'll keep working on the pictures.

Hi Guys, these look great.
What is the best way to buy one spoiler? Hard to determine what's what on eBay. PM me if best?
Thank you -
Platus, are they 275 Painted or Raw?
The panel where the Spoiler would lay on my touring (titan silber) is Faded, was gonna just re-shoot it but i think a spoiler would do just fine
I just got mine from Lee and I can say that it looks very OEM. Here are some pics when I test fit them.
I will post more pics when I bring it to a professional body shop for paint and installation.

I think it looks fantastic and looks OEM all the way. The fit and finish from the pictures as perfect as you can get. You should be proud your time and energy paid off as there selling, and probably will continue to sell. The pictures represent the part very well, 99% will get one from you next week. Just to confirm that marine super glue is all that is needed to attach? Mine is 2003, so figure that's no problem...again they really look good when finished and installed its a good thing to be bias...

That or roofing adhesive, either work well and won't break the bank. WagonsHo uses it and I'm here to testify, he isn't a fan of driving slow or half-assing shizz.
A part of me is very humbled to know that something we made is being enjoyed so far away.
Thanks for the confidence and comments. It's taken a while. I handed one to Chuckanut today. The first one I pulled out has a small chip in it, easy to fill but still. I really want everyone happy after the sale if I can help it. I ran back and picked him out another spoiler. Really nice guy.
3 left and 1 with a ding (fillable by a novice -pics upon request.) that I'd sell at a discount, like free shipping. Sure, a better deal if you're East Coast but the other option is me filling it to resell.
I'm just glad to see some light at the end.
Cheers

Got my car back from the shop to install the spoiler (along with a new passenger door and fender thanks to a hit and run) but it looks great!
The shop used double sided tape to stick it on - not sure exactly what but it's on there solid. Is this an approved method? Should I worry about it coming off now, week or year from now? I don't see being able to use the glue now that it's already on there without some serious elbo grease and potentially peeling paint underneath.
Thoughts?

Originally at the dealership you had instructions from bmw that told the techs to bolt and glue the spoiler on but everyone I know of who's removed one, their's was not "bolted" on, only double-sided tape.
Keep it under 200mph and you should be fine.
Very glad you guys got them on. Thanks for the pics!
