Scott, if you paint it, have the painter do the sides, the bottom side, then ffan it thin to leave the top carbon naked, clearcoat UV gloss over it.

Haven't been on BF.c in a LONG while...but nice to come in here and see that those touring spoilers actually got done. They look pretty sweet. If I wasn't (still!) working on a custom spoiler for mine i'd be interested in one.

Mask and paint. Make a design, a logo, add a matte finish (also cool masked and painted with a design or whatever)
I still have fiberglass versions if you want more of an oem weight and feel.

Mine has been on the backburner for a long while now. Been busy building a new shop for the business and getting that up, running, and building the business overall. Personal projects have definitely taken a back seat...for now. I did pick up a touring hatch from a local junk yard several months ago, and just brought it to the shop this past week, so hoping to get working on the spoiler again soon...

Well, I got on the list, The spoiler came out this way, got it today with a couple other cool shipments of cool things, it's like Christmas in June! LEE, THIS SPOILER IS BEAUTIFUL!!! It's not the carbon fiber one, but it is srtill beautiful!!! Thanks for all the hard work and seeing this through!!!

Dude, I felt lost and hopeless when you shipped the original OEM spoiler to me, I get it to Aaron the engineer at the machine shop, and it never moved from where I placed it when I gave it to him so that he could scan it with the FARO arm. For three weeks, I checked with him about it and he never even looked at it, until I gave him hell, then he does a quick glance over on it and says it's gonna be real complicated and didn't think they could do it cheap. Man, I almost grabbed the spoiler and really wanted to smash his head in with it. You know, I have not spoken to him since? If I see him, I think I'll beat the snot out of him for that waste of time and money shipping your rare brand new OEM spoiler back and forth across America., you shipped it to the east coast, then I shipped it to the west coast. So was it Bones who finally got the mold right? Or did you take it somewhere else? And was it him making some copies for himself and try peddling them on eBay when I caught someone who I thought was him selling them on there? I never really touched base with you on that after I gave you the heads up?
