I'm just waiting on 2 proofs from the manufacturer. One in fiberglass reinforced plastic and one in Carbon Fiber, both OEM in design. Read this whole thread 1st, there are other spoilers out there to buy for sure, not just these.
I have 3 repaired spoilers with the reinforcement added to the rear edge and one more on the way from California this week.
I stand behind these 4 but understand if people want to wait for this next batch, I'm excited too.

Was that a copy pasta from a while ago?
Also waiting and interested when sorted!

Hi. Been some time, I apologize.
Sometimes the path seems clear and then yuck;
I'm still awaiting the copies from China and I've yet to fix ghostbutt's spoiler for his car (he's a new papa btw'z. Much happy congrats!) I messed up my plans to get bone stock vs only-unicorn-added to a stock exhaust Dyno #'s by messing with it before solving my (at the time unknown) engine power loss. Swapped in new injectors and plugs and miracles... Light issues, radio, nav, cluster... (water down the roof antenna fried my nav which does all sorts of fun things.
Dimitry of DMI Auto Care off 15th in Ballard, WA... Figured this out and will try to help me diagnose my steptronic not being functional in manual mode.
Point is, gremlins had a meeting and decided to line up. I'm still here, haven't given up even if you have. (look'n @ you GG)
I'm still in the fight(s).
I owe M5Jed and Ghostbutts first efforts but when the spoilers come and pass inspection, Game on.

I am interested if this goes green.
Any of those Spoilers left over?
I will always own a BMW.
I’m still in the interested if sorted and available camp...

I'm going to wait till they arrive before giving out too much info. I will say this;
I want to make a nice part. This was my goal in the beginning and over a super long learning curve, I'm, we're here. Ive had parts made in Cali and the results were hit and miss. (Just ask Ghostbutts. Remind him to get that paint code to me!)
WagonsHo had to do work on a few of the first and second batch before the FRP ones we're good enough to sell and not screw someone over in the process. That all is laid out in this thread.
The FRP versions should arrive in a few weeks and I'll start selling them once inspected. The price will remain the same.
On the CF version, $500 plus shipping. It's taken a lot to get here but I'm really looking forward to the reveal.

Nice work man! Gotta hand it to you, you never gave up!
Set the controls for the heart of the sun
You guys are amazing. I'm so glad to have been able to stay in it. I can't get ahead of myself. Let me lay hands as it were and if all is well, I'll be honored to let you see them. Thanks for your patience as well.
BimmerMeUpSnotty, I ain't got much but my name and word. I owe ghostbutts a paintjob on his spoiler and a Father's day present (he's a daddy now) M5Jed needs some dyno numbers from these sick pipes and Wagonsho deserves something but he won't tell me what yet. I really wanted to do this. Let's talk parts 3D printing and open-source licenses for forum members...
(just sitting on the car, not glued or fitted. Fresh from the box)
You'll still want a professional to install this but basic stuff. Same light sanding and fitment stuff as with oem or my FRP versions. I also would suggest a ceramic coating or definitely a uv inhibiting "wax". The resin used is UV resistant but adding more protection from the sun is a good idea for everything on your car. (the detailer in me)
These make me happy!

DooD!!!! I just saw this! Almost blew a wad seeing that carbon fiber spoiler!!! Wish I could jump on one but my money is kinda tight right now. Bought too many toys just recently. I’ll put some green together and if you still have some of them left, I’ll snag one from you. I saw your other post. I’ll get a hold of Mike and see what he did with the drawings for the cup holder. Too much time has passed by as life keeps rolling on. I’ve slacked off a bit.

I hear ya, life... She has a tendency to fill a list quickly, pushing more fun items further down the pole. I probably would have quit last year if I hadn't had this CF spoiler in-mind the whole time. I needed to see it done. I needed to contribute something to the e39 wagon community, everyone else does.
Group buys, craigslist ad-finds, better tools, parts and techniques.
This forum alone has saved (*and cost me, once I learned how to swap motors) thousands.
I think there has to be an easier and cheaper way to make a part. If I find it, we all benefit. I know the cost of the CF is daunting compared to the Latvian model or the Taiwan model at like a hundred plus and my fiberglass versions are even more than the competitors but more accurate and stable on the car, easy to manipulate and paint. These won't warp or deform.
All you guys who offered support; beers to you!
To clarify for everyone who pm'd me or emailed me wanting a spoiler: I needed a break. It hurt (read previous pages) I needed everything right before I jumped back in. I'm sorry I didn't reply, also not pleasant for me.
I took a break from being excited, posting or trying to push what I had in stock. Last year I drove from Seattle to Anaheim CA, partly to have a face-to-face with my supplier. It was rough. I was hoping to be here, at this point, 8 months ago. Holding one's breath can have effects. I held out till hearing of these CF versions landing. I'd almost lost hope.
I wasn't aware that the mould had been made let alone parts had been popped.
The fiberglass versions were "cleaned up" in CA beginning of this year and we fixed the mould and instructions on bonding the 2 halves. There's even a rear hatch on-site to rest/test fit the pieces before shipping to me. Now the fiberglass versions have my approval.
In summary, both versions are making me very happy. Both require a little bit of fitment but nothing like the issues that were encountered previously. No Seagull wings, no tall spoillers, no misshapen edges lacking reinforcement. These are as good as the OEM spoiler I made these from, the CF is even better than OEM imho
For the fiberglass versions;
$275 (stays the same but we reduced the weight) thus the shipping goes to $20 (westcoast) $30 (midwest/central) and $40 (east coast)
Carbon Fiber: $500 and shipping is the same (box and volumetric space)
Paypal.me/DDLee (add accordingly)
I understand that a $500 aftermarket part is a big ask. I won't be able to afford to put one on my car till I sell about 25 but once there, I'm dying to put one one.
