    My dilemma

    Happy Sunday all,

I have a bit of a dilemma...a good one to have, but a dilemma nonetheless. I have an opportunity to get an allocation on a 2017 M2 for MSRP from the dealer where I have bought all of my BMW's. I currently have a 2011 Interlagos Blue M3 sedan with Competition package (9000 miles), a 2016 X5 40e, and my DD which is a 2011 328i. I also only have a 2 car garage, so my 328 stays outside. I would be trading in the 328 for the M2, which means something would still have to stay outside, and it won't be my wife's X5. The winter months aren't a big deal as i can store one of the M's at my detailer's garage. The issue is the rest of the year. Do I make the M3 my DD and use the M2 as the one that stays inside the rest of the year? Both cars I would consider rare given that my M3 is a rare color and option combination in a sedan with under 10k miles, but the M2 is a limited production run. or do I graciously bow out and keep my 328 as my DD?

Please let me know your thoughts.

    Thanks in advance,

    Rob

Hey Rob, I popped in this section just for fun and saw your thread. Truly the definition of a 1st world problem lol.

If it were me, I'd buy the M2 but keep the M3 in the garage and daily the M2. The E90 is more rare for a number of reasons - color, competition package, sedan, last of the NA ///M motors... IMO the E90 is the better collector out of these two.

I'm sure you can't go wrong either way though!

I was thinking the same thing. Now I need to make a carport or something for the M2

Took delivery of my M2 last Tuesday. Picked up at the dealership by Oakes who is cleaning, Xpel-ing, and CQuartz-ing. Should hopefully have it soon, and then the M3 goes up to his place for storage. Will post pics once I get it back
