Finally got to update my wagon

I finally got to upgrade my car a bit. New 19" F10 M-Sport wheels, carbon roof wrap, tinted windows and some small details around the car. Its been my daily driver for a year now and it really is a great car!!

Plans? I don't know. She is a 525 so she's never going to be fast unless I want to spend a fortune. The interior is a 9/10 but the stereo needs an upgrade. Not a big fan of the M5 front bumper so I will probably add a mild front valance to lower the look of the front and to cover the curb scratches on the lower bumper and ditch the front plate. Other than that just take the kids to school and go to work...things that a Daddy Wagon does great. It's just nice to have some style while doing them!

There's a few front bumpers, the Alpina version looks nice option.
I think you have a great engine. Very reliable and from what I've read, lots of potential. You've got time.

The Dynavin N6 seems to be an impressive radio option most with DSP like. Then it's an upgraded amp and speakers I think. (there's lots of talk about it in the forums)

She looks like a great dad-car.

Looks great with the new wheels. I just got my 540iT in August and I am really enjoying her as my new daily driver. Lots of small things (maintenance) here and there pop up, but it is great to get to learn and know my long roof.

I don't know what you consider a fortune and don't know what your technical ability is, but a M54b30 swap isn't too terribly expensive and makes the car a lot more joyful to drive. A manual swap at the same time, especially a 6-speed, is also a nice upgrade.

Yeah... engine swaps in California are almost nonexistent anymore. Smog guys won't touch them with a 10 foot pole and forget resale. Mechanically there is not much I can't do, but I think for now I'm just rolling what the Germans put in there.

What adapters did you use to get those rims to work... Love the carbon fiber wrap idea... how's it holding up in the sun?
