Up for sale is my 2003 Subaru WRX Wagon. I've owned the car for the last two years and purchased it from Renner Auto Sales in Waterbury, CT. Any maintenance or modifications were performed by the dealership. They also had the car tuned at MaximumPSI. The car was used as my winter / daily driver and has been exceptionally reliable. Below are the details:
Engine & Mods:
- JDM STI motor, VF30 Turbo, upgraded injectors, BOV, and a tune by Maximum PSI. Don't have any dyno numbers, but estimated around 300whp.
- Mileage: 240k on the body, Approximately 40k on the motor
- No leaks or noises
- Starts up in one or two cranks even on the coldest days of the year!
Drivetrain:
- Transmission: 5 speed with the typical 1st gear subaru notchyness, but goes into gear fine and shifts great into the other gears.
- AWD is in great shape. No leaks or noises
- Tires are in great shape and have a couple years left on them
- I replaced the rotors and brake pads all the way around with drilled and slotted rotors and semi-performance brake pads. They have fantastic feel and stopping power
- No wheel bearing issues or noises
Suspension:
- The car needs shocks all the way around. The current ones are completely shot. I haven't replaced the suspension because I'm guessing the new owner will want to add coilovers or performance shock/spring combos.
Exterior:
- Paint is good from far, but is about a 6.5 out of 10 in my eyes. I'm very particular about these things. There are small paint chips, small dents, and dings here and there. It also has the famed subaru rust on the passenger rear fender well. The previous owner had fixed and painted the rear quarters, but the rust came back.
- The previous owner plastidipped the wheels and the finish is coming off on the passenger side front wheel. The other wheels look good and overall the car looks great with the dark grey wheels
- I added RallyArmor mudflaps. They're about a year old.
Interior:
- Seats are in great shape
- The dash and door trim are in really good shape for the mileage - no cracks
- The cup holder above the radio is sticky, but works
- The lighting on the speedometer is a little dim, but works fine at night
- The AC needs a recharge
Overall the car is in great shape and is an absolute blast to drive and is incredibly practical if you're bring things home from the hardware store. I know these cars hold their value so please no lowball offers and no trades. The car is setup well and deserves a good home. The previous owner also gave me a JDM hood scoop that's painted gray as well as a JDM grill that I'll include in the sale.
$6,000 OBO
