Kings Auto Body Shop E30 M3 S54 Track build and restoration

    E30 M3 S54 Track build and restoration.

As most of you know, I had a stock e30 M3 before..... Love it, but I wish it had more horsepower. It my heart to take the S14 to replace it with something else.
So I decided to sell it, and look for a new project. Something that needs a little bit of work, so I wouldn't feel bad doing what I wanted to do to it.
Long story short, I have a complete crashed e46 M3 sitting in my shop, So I was looking for a rolling chassis. Was hard to find one, but I finally found this car for sale on Craigslist. It has an s50 with 6speed transmission off of an e46 zhp. The seller told me it needs some work. So I pulled the trigger and purchased it. I knew it needs trims, moldings, and lots of TLC. The plan was to throw the S54 with 6 speed in it, change trims, do interior work, and give it a fresh pain job. Started the project, found out this needs a whole lot more than that. Needs new brake system, sandblast , interior/exterior paint job, suspension, and bushings. Pretty much everything except the shell has to be replaced. So far I took the s54 apart, getting it rebuild, 6 speed transmission with stage 3 clutch, brembo BBK, trying to get AST coilover Kit. As far as wheels got 17 x 9 square setup VOLK te37 sl.

    The rest..... Will be continued.

The goal with this one is to be a street clean track toy.

    The day I got it

    My old E30 M3

Gorgeous E30 M3 man. I would have a tough time selling it, especially having one in that nice of condition. Keep us posted on updates and keep those pictures coming!

So I'm always a big fan of te37sl.
And we know they don't make them 5x120 in 17's
So I ordered a set of 17x9 et22 5x114, which is not that far from 5x120. So we got the wheels redrilled 5x120! so happy the way come out.
Big thanks to my buddy Serge from Benz Workz

What does it cost to do the re-drilling/insert? There are so many nice wide 17 and 18" wheels that don't come in 5x120. I'd like to look at some re-drilling options.

Sorry haven't post for a while, we was so busy at the shop.

So after seeing all the body work and paint how bad is on this car, we decided to take it all the way to the metal!

So we modify the S54 oil pan and E30 M3 subframe. That allows us to bolt the engine in and retain the factory S54 oiling system. And we run e36 engine mount arms and 24v swap specific engine mounts for this.
And a big thanks to the Arc Asylum
