Sold my 510 for a nice profit unexpectedly. Now the S62 heads will getting a light mill, new springs and seals. ESS supercharger will be shipping to Trevor this week too

Valve covers and plenum getting powder coated in wrinkle black. The ribs on the valve covers will be brushed. Uppers on the door panels are black now too.

Peter text me to tell me the bottom end and heads are assembled. Chains, guides, covers, oil pump, water pump etc will go on tomorrow. The plan is for Peter's business partner to deliver the assembled motor to Trevor on Thursday!! I hope to post photos later this eve when he downloads them!
Edit: Peter was also gracious enough to use his personal alternator for my build. He said the motor is too purdy to use a beat up one. Peter rocks!!

just such an awesome idea for a build. the execution is just that much better. what the hell is in the water in the mid atlantic? BMW super skills? like a quadfecta of bmw nuts all contributing to a super build. so cool

Yeah it was far from an ideal DD. I was having to push it out the garage when I would drive it to work to avoid waking my wife and son. It also would often set off my manager's car alarm in our parking garage when I left work
