My mount has been working great with 7000 miles on it now.

I used a rallyroad high mount shimmed over by 4 head bolt washers and a slimmed down and rotated vorshlag mount. Pbonsalb and Chikinhed helped with the mount options and saved a ton of time for me.

I don't remember what it looks like? Is it back in this thread?

I currently have a vorshlag mount I could do this. Did you put the head bolt washers behind the motor mount plate? You think this will clear a efr 9180?

    Thanks guys!

I contacted CES about this but have yet to get a response.

Yes head bolt washers between engine and mount to shift it out a little bit.

The efrs are a bit longer than the airwerks stuff. I can probably check a couple dimensions from drawings. My bet is it will fit just fine but the balljoint stud will probably interfere with a rigid 4" pipe. My intake has a 6" long 4" diameter silicon section to get it beyond the subframe.

It’s tight with a 9180. I like the idea of using 6” of silicon to get past the subframe since it will deform a little of needed. My car is not on the lift right now so I can’t look at it but I think with the 9180, the turbo inlet flange is too close to the motor mount. I had to rotate the mount towards the frame rail and cut down the inside of it. A lot of trial and error on that and on dpacingbthe motor mount arm off the block. A direct fit solution would be great. I will weld one to fit eventually.

Here's what the 4" inlet looks like. I just rotated the mount about 180*. It wasn't that bad for me since I knew what had worked for you guys with a longer turbo.

No AC really opens up the space. I have AC.

I have AC and want to continue to have AC once all this turbo stuff is on. Do you still have a 9180 Phil? Pictures of your car are like tiger blood to find haha.

I pulled some measurements off my other car since I intend to redo the intake someday and keep ac. With my mount and turbo I'm pretty confident I can step down to 3.5" and toute up and over the compressor.

4" seems like it would be too much effort with the lack of room. I'm also interested in seeing the tiger blood.
