I've been talking to the juggernaut and pouring over his logs, honestly I'd love to see your car with a 8374 or even a 9180, cause I know you were looking at 4094s a while back

I'm drooling over the boost threshold on juggernauts car. I really wish there was about a 74mm inducer EFR.

Anyone thinking about running a GTW6465R? The ball bearing option is pretty cheap. Has a new billet comp wheel and probably an older style turbine aero (granted they have proven they make good stuff). Just think something in that size range on the comp and turbine are perfect for all boost levels on a s52 if your plans are 850whp or less

I tried to create a map of market options of the TS T4 housings by turbine wheel. the spacing is unfortunately nonlinear, it tries to trace market offerings

the accuracy of the borg warner line is aspirational

i really wish i could have afforded a 6062... is anyone planning to run this turbo on this manifold?

I bought the 6262 a few days ago only to find out that the 3684r is now available t4 ts, fffffffjhadslhfjahgfh gah! i coulda ball bearing.

The manifold is quiet the art piece, i love looking at it.
The 6x62 housing holds this thing really high, there's no doubt this thing will gravity drain no problem
The wastegate was a little tough to mount the first time. But after the first time, it's hardly more difficult than the provided flange. I'm sure it's the coating. The two outside turbo flange studs interfere. The rear one hits the back of the housing the forward one hits hotside mounting hardware. I have three bolts in it now, took the one 1/2" bolt from the hotside. Also, it calls for a potentially awkward clocking of the chra, but i think it'll be solved when i get shorter studs.

It seems bolts are a bad idea as threads cannot make it all the way through. So it looks like I'll be cutting these unless anyone knows where to get shorter studs at the same grade.

This turbo is really on the small side of t4 fitment, I imagine other housings, for larger turbos- likely have a thicker flange and a more significant distance from the flange, so I doubt it'd be as much a problem for most people.

Why don't you just cut the studs?

You can't cut the studs with a vise, you'll need a hack saw or cut off wheel.

i do have a dremel, i also have a 4.5" cutoff wheel. I just feel a bit dumb masking off this manifold to do this stupid little cut while using the manifold as the holder. I'm kinda skeptical about dremel vs tool steel or grade 10.9 or whatever it is.

I'm not in a rush. This is mockup. This is an aluminum crank carrier from the yard.

I'm going to start a BF.c ultimate fail thread Julio!

Edit: Do you think the charge pipe can fit over the subframe?

Double nut long end to remove from manifold, then put the double nuts on the short end and hold there with vise grips while cutting long end with dremel.

Thats my method Use heavy gloves on the hand holding the vise grips in case the cutoff wheel slips!

It would be fitting. I also need a bandsaw bigly. All I really have to make holes beyond drilling is a small grinder.

now watch me go to harbor freight today... and not buy a vise

I think the orientation pictured is totally viable in the s13. I'll know better when I get to dangle it in there. I do think I'll have to cut some shiz and maybe make a less orthodox mounting solution on the exhaust side as the subframes shape isnt conducive to any of this.

I think other configurations like the under-the-SPAmanifold-reallyhotpipe would work as well. I'm skeptical if aimed downwards would viably make it over the subframe

Nov 9th is potentially the day that millions of dead americans come back to life, dig there way out of there graves and join the desperate hoards of people clambering over the Canadian border in a desperate effort to escape the nightmarish horor of a Donald Trump presidency. Is that what you are referring to? Please please please say it the day when Ontario announces its annexing Minnesota.

But trump will make America great again. It will be tremendous. It will be so great it will make your head spin. Believe me. BELIEVE ME. Right now we are losing. Losers. With trump we will be winning. It will be a beautiful thing. TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP!!!
