    So, just for info purposes.
The studs provided by steed when installing a precision 1.0 ts housing will need to modified. 2 of them will need to be cut down 5mm (ish).

Also, you will need a slim line bushing. I spoke with john, and the mount arm and bushing combo should be available very shortly, maybe this week.
For now, I'm going to modify a bushing.

Brad is having luck with the Ireland bushing, or I guess the AKG turbo bushing would be the same.

AKG turbo bushing is too thick. It's really not much narrower than stock.

I sent an email to AKG asking for dimensions of the turbo mount and got a poor reply of... "If you let me know what dimensions you are looking for in a mount and the application, I can see if anything we make would work. Do you need an offset bolt, or a straight thru? Although our E36/E46 mounts are not a true bolt thru, our unique design functions as a bolt thru."

At least they are willing to accommodate different set ups.

Akg turbo mount is about 2.75 bottom and 2.25 top, and bottom thickness goes nearly to top.

I just measured mine and it is 2 1/4" top, 2.5" bottom and 2 5/8" tall. The smaller top portion is only 3/4" of the total height.

    It's closer to 2.75 bottom than 2.5.

Good call, I crawled under the car and tried to eyeball it. Not the most accurate way of doing it I guess.

Ireland looks like the narrowest in the bottom/mid where clearance appears to be limited for some turbos. Maybe CES or Rally Road will come up with other options.

AKG have been the only ones to send me emails of dimensions in a timely and accurate manner. I bent my HPF motor mount bracket and switching to the E46 Rallyroad arm and didn't want to run the Volvo (rubber straight through mount with enforcer cup). Running an AKG E30 (45mm height) Solid, Bolt through with shims. 49.5mm is what the volvo mount originally was.

Dunno if this helps or gives an option but Lisa at AKG has been nothing but awesome.

Edit: *Thought the HPF mount was bent but it wasn't...either way went with the Rallyroad for a bigger intake*

are we suppose to use the exhaust gaskets with this manifold? I thought I read somewhere that they were NOT using them, but I dont know the reason.

    Afterthought:

Has anyone turned the manifold around to see if it could work as a Top-mount?

My manifold is already installed...so I can' really play with it...

I can tell you right now that’s not going to work. The frame will be in the way.

I thought so too, I guess its next to impossible to fit large bottom mount turbo in e30

Then the mount arm would attach to that.

Hey Perry, was this just a quick sketch or do you have the mount points of the motor mount arm modeled? I've yet to see a decent motor mount arm for this manifold made yet.
