Got some more work knocked out on the Mock3...
The Turner Motorsports underdrive pulleys are installed.
The 42 Draft Designs spacers are on, as are the Rogue Pro-line wheels studs and aluminum nuts, which meant we could bolt up the Apex wheels with the new Hankook RS4s!
We modded the cool air inlet for the alternator, and fitted up the S54 oil cooler lines
I cannot wait to work on her more!

I decided to deplete the ol' race car fund some more. I purchased a Kirk bar (full cage will wait until next year at this point). Also picked up a set of shims for the front suspension. I didn't want the rear suspension to feel left out, so I bought a set of adjustable rear lower control arms from BimmerWorld.
The car currently sits with a Euro M3 shift lever, but the throws are still longer than I want; a problem that will be exacerbated when I add a taller shift knob. To fix this, I have ordered the 35% reduction lever from Understeer...which appears to be a Z3M lever that they have bent. Probably could have done that easily myself, but this way I know it is done right.
more soon!

I had some time on Saturday to wrench on the car, and we got a fair bit done.
Here's the new equal-length downpipe and track pipe mid-section from BimmerWorld. This will be mated to the S52 headers and the Bekkers SuperSport cat-back exhaust. I am having a v-band welded on.
I also got the SPC adjustable rear lower control arms
We mocked up the oil cooler and made templates for the brackets that will hold the oil cooler to the bottom of the radiator.
SPC arms installed!
We dropped the rear end as well an inch. Still needs to come down a touch more.
We also installed the driveshaft and fixed a hood hinge that was bent, making the rear passenger side corner stick up. Much better now!
Next up is to install the fuel filter, dual fuel pumps and to run fuel lines to the rail. After we mount up the oil cooler and pop the intake manifold back on, we can fire her up!
More soon!

I love watching this come together
Bob and I had some time to do some more work on the car today...
The car finally has a windshield!
We got the radiator and oil cooler mounted and plumbed, and got the fan shroud and overflow tank in.
And I hung the Bimmerworld downpipes
We got everything routed under the intake and popped it on
We have some electrical issues to tackle, but we are getting there...
More soon!
