I have a 98 740i which came with 235-60-16 rims. I eventually want to switch to a set of the brakes and rotors used on the 750i. I know in a number of cases that sport rotors and calipers can mandate a larger rim to fit. Does anyone know if I need to switch up to 17 or 18" rims if I move up to the 750i brake sets? I was not wanting to go up to something like 19" rims, even though I know they will fit. Tire prices get way too high and I am worried about losing too much ride quality if I go with too little side wall. instead I wanted to stay with either Stock struts or Touring struts and springs. Add on a UCC oversize front and rear sway bar and try to keep a little ride quality with 17" rims. The 750i brakes will dictate which rims I need to move to though. Any comments on all this?

Thanks guys. Just going through the learning process on this car.
