Are #24 Injectors and 3.5MAF needed for these mods?

I currently have the stock 21.5# injectors in my 328i e36/M52B28. I'm wondering if with the mods below will I need to upgrade to 24# injectors and 3.5MAF as well? The only mods installed currently are Intake/ASC Delete/Riot Racing BBTB.

    Mods waiting to be installed:
    M50 Manifold Swap
    Riot Racing S52 Cam regrinds
    Headers
    Exhaust

So adding the manifold and cams, should I add the 24# injectors and 3.5MAF?

    Thanks!

Yes sir. I was planning on going with either Jordan/RK Tunes or Markert.

Consider 22nd Productions (22rpd.com), Vollosso on here. He got an extra 9whp peak and 8-10ft/lbs of torque over about 80% of the torque curve over the best one of your choices could do on my NA 3.0 build. He was super easy to work with and very quick to respond to every one of my questions/inquiries.

^ +1 I'm going with Zack (vollosso) at 22rpd as well for my NA 3.2L with RR cams. Nothing but a good experience so far and very reasonable pricing too.

I was also going through the same dilemma on my 3.2L: Are the 24# injectors and 3.5 MAF worth it? From my understanding, the 24# injectors and 3.5" intake/MAF might give you a little more area under the curve and a little more fueling headroom on the stock FPR--but definitely not necessary for a solid setup. You might be leaving a very small amount of power on the table without them, but they definitely aren't the best bang for your buck compared to all the other mods.

That being said, I found a great deal on the forums for a rebuilt set of 24# injectors, and Zack got me hooked up with a great deal on a 3.5" intake/MAF setup. You'll probably see very small gains from them, but I don't know how necessary they are. Ask your tuner what they recommend--You're paying them.

jakermac, what cams are you running? What is your NA setup? That looks very healthy for an NA 3.0L. I hope my NA 3.2L numbers look that good lol.

On a 328, you will probably not max out the stock MAF or the 21.5lbs injectors.
It's nice to have, but unless you are not reaching maximums, there's no power gain.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I didn't think I'd be maxing them out. Much appreciated.

Nice! Looks similar to my build. Will be interesting to see what Zack can get out of my setup.
