    Please help (new to bmw)

I bought an angel eye kit and did all the wiring and tapped it into the accessories wire. I might have forgotten to disconnect the battery and now I have the Eml light and the Check engine light and my DSC lights on. It is in limp mode and doesn't have all its power. Please help me! I'm new to bmw and don't know what to do.

Try disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it and see if that will reset things. Or, plug it in and see what the codes are.

I saw that if you disconnect both positive and negative and then touch them together for 2mins that it will erase the code. Is this true?

It will clear the Check engine light yes. Unless there is a current problem thats keeping it on, then it will come right back. It doesn't work for everything though, some modules throw "hard codes" (like the Airbag) which will not clear by doing that.
