Thanks, Dyno was done at Boosted Creations in Victor.
Togue fest prepped, 8 psi, ready for Tail of the Dragon this weekend. 2500 miles incoming, lets test my build
275/35/18 Rsrr for anyone wondering.
Very fckin loud, they grip like monsters though once up to temp, 33psi F, 31psi R, they sound like monster truck tires but my exhaust is louder... yes 75mm rear flare, 50mm front flare, able to squeeze a square setup, rears I could easily run a 305-315.
You driving all the way down or trailering?
Just tried looking for it, it's on EBAY, usually 110$-140$. Usally under "drift style" etc. Couldnt find them now, they pop up a lot. Fitment on OEM panels is 90% good, you have to cutout non-M3 side mouldings or M3 mouldings, and that's it. They line-up with the sheetmetal.

Negative, did some more looking, pretty sure these are it. They have gone up in price. https://www.ebay.com/i/253398033124?...241c6dfff98495
Im shocked those RSRRs are hooking at 600. I had RSRRs and they are a great tire no doubt and were wonderful for twisties but couldnt get them to hook for shit.
They are not hooking 600 These are meant for left n right turns, once they are up to temp they hook okay. Not meant for drag racing though.
They are 275/35/18 varient.
Watkins Glen, Still rippin. Still slayin. Turbo E36 will not die.
Welp, so here I am 2020 wow. Car is still alive maybe I'll update this with some photos. My past turbo setup has retired mostly. Ended up boring the engine out to 87mm because why not? Fully built, rods, what have you, e46 m3 oiling system, yada yada. Oh, also did a 6 speed swap on the way because why not.
So, here I am at the final stages of this setup. Moved to the new Steedspeed manifold too, pretty cool part. Car just does not like going into boost @ WOT. It goes very lean 15+ and I eventually let out because well it breaks up and I know that's probably too lean. Using a 22RPD 80LB tuning setup. I've done everything I can think of, fuel pressure, checked everything to do with the MAF, boost leak, hoses, FPR hose, everything is setup perfectly. Trying to think of what could cause it to go so lean only under WOT as it rolls into the spring pressure. Fuel pump is relayed and is a 340lph pump. All of this is on 93octane too.
Keep mind idle is smooth as glass, afr is 14.2-14.9 during idle. Driveability is gorgeous, pulls good. ONLY WOT and that is it. Vaccum is right around 16. If you all can think for me maybe something stupid i miss, it's got me stumped and i've rarely had issues and i wanna drive this hooptie to piss off the locals lol.

The good idle and cruise paired with breakup are really throwing it for a loop.
At breakup does it feel like it’s coughing or crackling?
Your plugs looked good yesterday.
Any codes? It could be a cam-sync type error. If you free rev it does it go happily to 6-7k?

@ Jaker, so I'm not a guru at the DME either but I've tried 3 seperate TPS just to be sure and they all act the same with which ever one I put in.
Yeah, It's so strange, with the conditions of it driving and idling better than it ever has by far, as far as smoothness and whatnot you'd figure going into a little boost would be fine.
I'm leaning towards it crackling and not coughing. I'm going to try a different set of coils and coil harness just to rule out a missfire. Also try a different set of plugs because that's cheap enough.
Yup, I figured as much they looked great to me too.
Zero codes, minus a stupid evap code but that's it.
Goes right to redline, i've bounced it off limiter several times and it's smooth as glass.
Could unplugging the battery do anything lol. Grasping at straws if I have too lmao.

.022 on the gap.
Turns out it was a faulty MAF, was a last ditch effort but lo n behold we got tooooonnnns of fuel now. Brand new MAF and I'm not sure if i messed it up somehow but all is well and it's boosting strong again.

Yeah. Actually a dyno day in 2weeks too. I plan on getting a remote tune to get it perfect eventually but I might do the dyno day just to see what it makes. Only 50$ so worth to see if I built this thing right. I'll get a little video after a little.
For anyone wondering about the steedspeed creeping it does for me as well. Open dump WG. I'm creeping 3psi past spring pressure. IE: 6lb spring I'll climb to 10 or so, 15lb sprin, I climb to 18-19psi.
