Impressive! What are you doing to the rear to balance out? Also, do you always work on your car in sandals?
What "thumbs up" really means
Ummm... shouldnt bleeder screws be up?

Who sells the brackets? Tia!
Yes. where can we get those brackets?
Also more info and will they clear 18"?

Agree with Tom. The calipers are on reversed....bleeder screws are at top, not bottom. Ask me how I know that!!!

Lol, I know calipers are upside down, I just fitted one for the picture. With the 4 pot calipers the small piston is always leading and large piston is trailing. Yes sometimes wear sandals for easy tasks
You can pm me for the info on the kit it was custom made for me in Europe.

I figured it was probably something like that. I am going through the same thing, and simply had mismarked mine when they were removed from the car prior to refinishing.
That rotor looks like a remake of the Euro 850CSi floating rotor.

Why did you pull out the supercharger?

I guess these mount a little differently than how your blue ones mount.
These are "baby brembos" from an 840 that is a direct bolt on to the carrier still using a stock rotor some will argue its actually a downgrade to large single piston ate stock caliper. GT1 Brembo calipers I am using are a whole different animal..with a massive 360mm floating rotor, caliper pistons that are similar in diameter to euro csi caliper pistons this set up gives me great stopping performance, eye candy to look at and an approx 10lb weight savings per corner over the stock set up that any pro race team would kill for. The way I see it it's a win win, downside is 18" wheel is needed to clear.

Yes these are the 840 calipers...
Hyper actually developed a solution where he uses a 345mm rotor and puts these calipers on brackets to improve braking force....But as a standalone these are no upgrade...

Rear 4 piston big break kit in the works to counter and balance out massive front set up.
Definitely interested in seeing the rear brake kit.
Bolted up custom banjo SS color matching brake lines today, now just need to pressure bleed the system.

When I tried 18" rims the tire series on the front had to be sufficiently low enough so that the tire didn't rub the spring plate on the strut. As this car has Euro M-sport springs it made the ride too articulate, you could feel every pebble and crack in the pavement etc. and you had to keep the tire pressure up so that the rims didn't get dented from uneven expansion joints in the freeway. Also the rear would break away easier on tight turns with the low series tires on 18" rims. (seems counter intuitive, but real world experience) So went back to 17" rims.
You may like the 18" rim plus low series tire feel but my lower back REALLY hurt each time I drove the car so I went back to 17" rims.

Have the ACS Type 2 18" wheels on this 8 and Alutec 18"(13 and 10" wide) on my old one, yes the ride is harsher but not too bad, I like it better.
Also depends on the tires used.
