    Leak from the engine

    Hello,

Today, I noticed something leaking from my engine. I don't know what it is or where in the engine it came from.

Anyone know from the color? Thank you so much in advance.

    this.

Did you taste it? if its sweet could be coolant... if it is bitter could be oil.

Couldn't test it. Sorry. I know for a fact that there's a small oil leak from thr block, but Im not sure if this is related.

I took this picture if it's any help.

Not the greatest detail in the photo. I also noticed that after a couple hours, it evaporated. I don't think it is oil, so either coolant or water.

Looks like a green tint to the liquid, that is bad stuff if your coolant is green. It should be blue, BMW blue cut with distilled water to be exact.

There are a couple of coolant hoses back in that area, and they goto the heater.

Pop the hood and have a look for 1 of the hose clamps could have loosen or you have a bad hose.

Prob a heater hose gone - your valve will be right in that area along the frame rail.

Looks like coolant mixed with water now that I look at it.
