Need some help here.
I have the 2015 M3 with about 10k miles on it. My ceramic brakes have squeal noise when I apply the brake lightly at low speed which might be normal. However I have other two situations below that I don't think it's normal at all. Please advise.
1. There were few times I applied brake at about 40mph to stop the car and it felt like a medal piece stuck between brake paddle and the rotor and the noise is super loud. But it will go away in like 2 seconds.
2. Yesterday I was driving at about 45-50 mph local. The right side of the car which seems to be from the brake makes constant noise like those engine belt noise. It became on and off for couple time and would last for a long time.
I will bring the car to dealer to check it out but before that I like to see if anyone has the similar issues.
Thanks so much!
Hello allenybq,
There are a lot of possibilities to the issue that you described. Does the car also shake a little bit when you apply the brakes and hear the noise? It could be a simple fix like needs to smooth out a rotor due to a divot or unevenness or it could be something bigger like an issue with the caliper. If the car is still under warranty, I would take it to your local dealership and have them evaluate. Hope this helps a bit.

Thanks for help! The car actually doesn't shake at all. Yeah I'll take it in next week to have them check it out.
