I moved to the Austin, TX area at the beginning of this year. Brought two e39s with me from CA and recently bought a 1995 540i6 here in Texas. With that said, I'm new to the e34. I bought a 1994 530i 5 spd in July and 2 wks later ran across the 1995 540i I currently have. Wondering if there are any fellow e34 owners around the Austin area. I need to find a good local used part source and a good alignment shop.

You should join our Texas facebook group and introduce yourself. There's a few Austin guys on there, at least one has an E34 wagon with an S50 swap I think. They have an event coming up in Leaky in October. I'm going to try to be there. There's also another Austin area dude on this forum with a 4.0/6 swapped wagon I met one time, but I can't remember his user name at the moment. Maybe he'll see this thread. You probably noticed already that a Californian who moves to Texas is about as well liked as a rattle snake in your cowboy hat.... so maybe don't mention that part when meeting new people.

Checking in. '91 E34 M5 owner here around the Austin area. Currently about to get started on new brakes, Bilstein B8's, H&R springs, doing an SLS delete, and replacing most of the control arms, tie rods....aka EVERYTHING under the car. LOL
