Rubber Trim Found under front bummer

I was looking at the front end of my car and saw a piece of rubber trim hanging under the front bummer with each side showing? The part is around 24 inches long and is curved on each end. Looks like most of the part is OK except for the ends seem to be worn. It looks like it snaps into something. I have no idea where it came from. It did not see a part number on the rubber trim and it might not be the whole part.

You sure you didn't pick it up while driving? I've never seen that before...
Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by hundreds of engineers that get paid thousands of dollars for something you bought at Pep Boys because your buddy who doesn't have a job told you it was 'better'?!?

Check your cabin air filter housings, are they both there as far as weather stripping/seal? That looks about that size, may have made its way down under over time? Just spitballing
