I’m new here.. but I love this. Send it to Casey, when’s he’s done he can send it to me, and I’ll send it to the next person!
My wife got me a set of fitted Z3 luggage for Christmas. I hate to break it to her I've been looking at a M3 convertible.
Oh well, guess I'm keeping the Z...

Had been looking for a rear spoiler but couldn't find anything that I liked so I ended up making one. My main priority was to not drill any holes, had to be strictly bolt on. The pics show my attempt.

Oh man, I’m digging that spoiler. More details please.
Thank you Hirsch990, I always liked rear Spoilers and was a little disappointed the M didn't have one. Looked around and didn't see anything I liked so I made my own. The anchoring point is the two locating holes behind the license plate. I installed rivet nuts in them. The Spoiler is connected to a plate which the license plate hides. Then I used 3m auto double stick tape along the top edge along the trunk lid.

I agree about the need for a spoiler, but most I have seen available don't fit with the look of the car IMHO. Yours looks great. You should sell these!
I'm curious. With the top down, does more wind move rearward into the spoiler or forward into the back of the passengers heads? A wind tunnel test would be interesting. I installed a Windblocker on my car (no spoiler). With the windows down, it yields a calm, quiet bubble in the cabin. With the blocker removed, raising the side windows produces almost the same effect.
You can’t have everything. Where would you put it?

For the top of the radiator. Most of it is already polished, but I couldn't get a towel in everywhere.

Wired in a trickle charger quick disconnect with the connector in the rear cargo compartment cubby.
Then replaced the side markers and turn signal lens in the bumpers with clear reflectors and chrome coated amber bulbs. No hint of amber until the lights are used.

Hello from the Philippines. Had PFC rotors and pads shipped over for street use. So far, these work quite well!

Fitment is perfect. Problem is, wasn’t able to find PFC rears

Mundane updates - Fresh oil and filter change yesterday (@93800 miles) with Pennzoil Platinum Euro L 5W-30 (first time using 5W-30 since purchased the car in 2009; previously have used 0W-40 and 5W-40 oils) and Mahle OX154/1 D filter. Also finally installed my new BMW 5L replacement windshield washer reservoir and a BMW screen filter. All works OK.
I didn't *buy* it this week, but I had a stock silencer (with a flap) installed after spending a lot of time polishing the tips (seems I didn't polish enough, they stick out more than I expected). And now it seems I'll have to buy a vacuum solenoid or two (also tried the SAP solenoid).

I guess this is something un-bought. Removed the window tint. Love the new look way better now.

BMW related; Knipex pinch clamp pliers from AMZN. Tool collection continues to expand. Will be handy securing some PS steering hose clamps on the 328Ci, this week. Z3 PS steering hoses will be ordered this week.

Suspension refresh including Koni struts and shocks, strut mounts, shims, poly LCABs, Rogue shock mounts, RTABs, and poly rear subframe bushings. Also did a new oil pan gasket (it had started rusting and leaking) and oil level sensor.
The front end stuff is almost all complete except one of the poly LCABs I ordered is out of spec and falls out of the bracket. Very bummed about this. I'm worried I might have a problem with the rear subframe bushings from the same company.

Where did you get it?, would it fit my 2.8?
A bunch of cleaning products from Griot's Garage. Washed it and then synthetic clayed the whole car. Tomorrow I will do some light correction, then seal it.
