Well over the past two weeks I did: Rebuilt driveshaft from driveshaft specialists of Texas (http://www.driveshaftspecialist.com/. highly recommended, I had an issue with my order so they sent me out a replacement at their cost) Ireland subframe bushings, OE trailng arm bushings, OE rear sway bar end links, OE front strut/sway bar end links, E46/M3 rear strut mount upgrade with reinforcement plates, UCC stainless brake and clutch lines, clutch master and slave cylinders, shifter bushing refresh, shifter shaft seal, and Changed my tranny fluid to royal purple syncromax. I'm taking a break for a few months. lol

Got some fancy near perfect door panels. The ones that came with my car were pretty crappy. These cost more than I wanted to spend but were worth it. I went ahead and refreshed some of the adhesive to ensure that they don't fail in the future.

the dents in the leather is just from the packing foam, it smoothed out on its own after 20min of being unpackaged. I got these from that prevet_03 on Ebay. I got the drivers side installed last night along with new kenwood tweeters. I will get the passenger side done this weekend.

Sadly, the newly installed S54 developed quick a ticking sound during the drive out to Monterey and back. The culprit:
One of these is not like the other. Seems like one of the rockers was robbed of oil for just enough time to develop some wear, which became worse with additional driving. So very glad nothing disastrous occurred during the drive, but just a complete demolition of my bank account.
She received 12 new rockers and a new exhaust cam, along with another valve adjustment and oil change. Purrs like a kitten now.
New cam on left, old on right. The associated lobe had some ugly wear on it, but I didn't snap an up close photo of it.

Always looking for my next ///M Coupé...
A couple weeks ago I rebuilt the front end. New struts, control arms, offset solid bushings, 95 M3 strut hats.
Thats a bummer Mark... it was definitely loud valvetrain noise, think we just assumed it was due for a valve shim adjustment. Ouch. Did you take it in for shims and they discovered that? Any idea what the cause was? I mean this engine was just installed, wasn't it?
The old cam would make a pretty cool lamp...

Yeah , id like to know too what the cause was, about to install a new set of 280/288 cams n followers in my S54.
New top and and nice non shrunk leather boot for the E-Brake.
Replaced the 3rd brake light assembly. Previous owner had lost or removed the gasket and got water entry as well as a fully corroded brake light assembly. The assembly wasn't cheap (the gasket is cheap), but it only took 20 minutes to replace.
