It is in the rear seat armrest. Fold the arm rest, pull back the leather, and open the latch.

I'm familiar with what the option is, I'm just surprised the wagon had it. I haven't seen a ski bag along with fold down seats. I thought it was one or the other.

Oh, yes, all cars that got fold down seats have it as well (regardless whether sedan or touring).

Was there ever an option for a towing package? I stumbled upon a post by a previous owner displaying the "towing package" on my 540it, but when I put my vin through a decoder there seems to not be an option for a towing package

I can’t seam to find my car on charts, I’m I reading wrong? I have a 1999 540i wagon Biarritz Blue Metallic, with Sport Package, heated front seats, Xenon Headlights, just interested in how many where made. Thanks

The chart isn't that hard to decipher.
95 biarritz blue, of which 47 were sports with black trim.
So right there your one of 47.
43 sports had style 32 wheels, but that could include the ones with black interiors.
And beige interior, were in 41 or the 95 blue, but that's not breaking down which were sport.
You can drill down farther if you have a particular option, but it's hard to say how many were exactly like yours.

As the owner of your 525's twin (only no heated seats), it's just a matter of getting doabarrelroll properly motivated to do it.
Just think of how many silver 01-03 525's there are.
I think there was over 10,000 525 wagons on top of 528,540 ones

Either you are reading the wrong chart, as the first chart is for 528 5 spd, or you are reading the correct chart incorrectly.
The only place where it has a 0 for biarritz blue is M sport, which is correct, as you do not have an M sport.
Look again, still 1 of 47 blue with sport.
If you're selling, people will want it.
If you're keeping, drive it and love it.

Hey, I am pretty sure mine is rather rare, due to the fact that it has the Full leather option, probably a one of one in its current configuration (GW45916) but I am making this into a dream car for myself and building up a bit of documentation from its origins as a German official car in Hamburg to its setup now. I don’t know if you are able to do a similar spreadsheet for 530dt's but I would be absolutely in awe of you if you did it! If you built up a list or showed me how to do this I would be eternally grateful.
