Neither do the LS guys
I remember when I first posted about the LS swap and wondered whether I would ever make it happen
Cause it takes no skill to drop an LS into an E39 obv

Right!
I vote for nitrous on M62 = on list! Yep, I'm brown-nosing Jim. Lol
But seriously, if a guy has a dyno or a trap speed with nitrous on an M62 that's pretty cool.
I also want to suggest that we decree a "king of the deadpool." Assuming that means someone who actually went most against the odds to get good power out of an M62, I deem Philly as the current king. Whatchyu think GG? Your thread after all...
Maybe there needs to be another sort of king of the deadpool, meaning the guy who proclaimed the max level of badassery, and then followed up on said claims with epic fail.
Yeah, that's my point. So who is the epitome of the reason for the "Deadpool" moniker? "Arnage setup" guy maybe?
GG, since it seem that your focus is mainly on M62/tu builds, I thought of mentioning Big M62 with his S/C M60 engine but with an S62 crank in it. If I recall he also has a custom made intake manifold made exactly like for S65 s/c kit. I think he pushed about 12psi or so and made over 500/500. Not sure on torque numbers.
Well, I don't remember it too well as it was quite a long time ago.
It appears that he's now trying to sleeve the block and go with bigger pistons. I'm not sure if he is still active and or still continuing with his build, but here's one thread from bimmerboost.

Title says V8, but thread says M62. I guess S62/SC/Stage 2.5 swaps don't matter here either?

Oh no doubt about that. Let's just say he likes to quarrel with a lot of turbo straight sixes all the time. BFc F/I squad know him pretty well ....
I just thought of bringing up his name because of this thread ... not in any bad way, but I just remembered him. Who knows if his last dyno numbers were true or not. I vaguely remember seeing his dyno graph.
Alright bishes.
Y'all gettin confused between a "Hall of Fame Builds" and "Hall of Build CLAIMS"...
Sheesh, now everybody wants their builds listed. OK I'll start another thread "People With Cool Builds Who Need Their Egos Boosted" (note my build will be first in line, bishybishies..!) RSB gets it.
Sure if we're gonna go back in time for all builds I guess we could add the successes of NO2 and LS swaps, but honestly the NO2 and LSX boys are far less poserific... those dudes seem to just get it done then tell you about it.
Tell ya wut... if a n00b-duder shows up and claims he's gonna do some big LS / NO2, we'll add him, OK? Otherwise I gotta go back and add clay and schitzo and every other actual cool does shiz build to the list, and that's not really the point.
Ha ha ha ha ha.
Yeah.
He doesn't qualify for the rules cuz its in an E34. But believe me I debated it. Obviamente, ranks high on the deadpool talk vs. walk score. Everything is always awesome and brilliant but details are hard to come by and then ridiculous things seem to happen.
Plus we'd have to remember which username he's using this week. BigM62? or JizzyZ28? Something like that? I can never remember what he's decided to be...
heh heh Thaddeus P. Trasnerski gets it.
Sigh. Again weak-ass lamer needs his ego pumped, and doesn't read the thread. Ironic after he had to just spend years copycat follow my build for first couple years before he could really do anything of his own...
Clearly stated, NOT about buyin kits off the shelf, or simple OEM based swaps! Gotta aspire to go above and beyond into uncharged territory, bro! Declare a twin-charged-SC+turbo-plus-nitrous build and I'll DEF list you! Plus other rule is "low key / on DL / no bragging" projects are being left off, and you've been underwraps on your "next level" so you disqual there as well.
But Bri-Bri-Ballbusting aside, yes, it's true I started w/ M62-claimers but I decided better to leave it open to the S62 guys who fly in claiming they'll whack out the twin turbo build in no time too. (and specifically wanted the IMPOSSIBLE thread to be listed).
My thread, my rules beyotchooz.
