    Yeah!!!

It's about time we had some new entries! But I have to say, I sure hope these new guys do work, and create something interesting for us to watch. The blah, blah, blah entries are pretty boring. I want to see a new round of creativity and boundary pushing.

Alright then, you're an animal! That's some nice work.

But can I still be a deadpool schmuck?

Still in the works gents along with a 302 Project. Our next phase is to shift the M122H to the V8 motors. For anyone who has an idea how much time and funding, trial and error goes into these projects. Rest assured it will be done, and all these doubts and doubters will melt away.
"So we've come to the conclusion that BMW just has parts laying around they decide to throw on cars for no reason."

Interest on a Very Budget Supercharger Build??

Without any photo documentation of progress the current rating of “talk talk talk” remains.

Your appeal hearing has now been closed. You retain the right to re-open the appeal, but only if you submit new documentation into evidence.

I found that N63 turbo manifolds fit the cylinder spacing exactly, and mount easily with adapter plates. Further I found that a Ferrari Mondial intake will also fit with an adapter plate, just need to fabricate. So in the end, I will have twin turbos that feed into each side of the intake. I figured the only place this engine would fit would be in a kit car, and the GT40 fit the bill.

Currently I am working on the Porsche 996 transmission adapter, and then I will move onto rebuilding the heads. Here are photos from late last year. Will update if there is interest.

Yeah, I never added that dude... building a turbo M6x isn't really a giant feat if you're doing it with minimal engine bay constraints, which is generally what the deadpool concerns (i.e. gross claims about building hi-po M6x E38-9 chassis cars 'easily')

But I agree, would have been cool to see that one succeed.

I did add superdude Reggieleemorton tho'. Cuz it was clear he was goin' nowhere with his twin-turbo-M73 740i.

Is it my imagination, or did a bunch of WagHo posts disappear?

Regarding Nick's front mount single turbo 540 (the one I built), he continues to enjoy that sucker like there is no tomorrow. A few days ago he had it up in the mountains somewhere outside of Vegas I guess:

But more to the point a few weeks ago:

He rips on it like that regularly, so I think at this point we can say that the M62b44 truly can handle some bewsties.

    True all of dat GG!

Also I see our most recent maker of solid claims, Mr. Hyde, has another quarter year in the books without showing anything. I'm sure that is all by design.... Lol.

LOL I hadn't noticed that but wouldn't be surprised. He's great to have around and has obv torn down a buncha these motors and is clearly good experienced wrencher dude, so its great to have him around and get his input... But when it comes to his own project, he has always had very odd ideas about posting and not-posting and i will not start my own thread while periodically dropping little sideways humblebrags and wellwhenitsalldoneyoullseeitllbreaktheinternet in other peoples threads while scrupulously avoiding answering any specific questions or showing anything much at all.

I guess he's afraid Mark Zuckerberg will steal his ideas through an embedded browser cookie and make billions off his M62 blower kit designs before he can get to market or something.

Thanks Jim, it's good to drop in!

I've been spending WAAAAY too much time on work lately, so I haven't accomplished as much on the LS-LRSB recently as I would have liked, but it's coming along well. I didn't care for the forward pattern (normal pattern) manual/auto valve body setup I put together for it, so I bought a crazy, billet, reverse manual valve body that maintains engine braking like they use on those off-road racing trucks. I have to do some internal stuff to the trans to make that work correctly, but I'm hoping to get that done in the next week or so.

Also, the massive intercooler core for it should be arriving within the next couple of days. It's conservatively rated for 1,300hp. Lol. With that in mind, it's time to start slamming the turbo kit together. Initially two China "GT35s" ($140 each recently if you use the "make an offer" option) in the trunk behind the radiator.

Oh! Also I picked up a 4th gen 5.3 siamese bore aluminum short block the other day for $250. The guy a couple hours west of me where I dyno'd the 540 is running 7s at 180 on that sort of short block with little more than gapping the rings. It should drop 80-100lbs off the nose of the car compared to the current iron block.

Enough blabber about the LS-LRS though, how is the hotrod coming along?

Thad, good deal on the 4th gen LS. Can't beat those engines for making tons of power.
The '33 is moving along...slowly. All these little changes and mods I do really take up a lot of time.
Went to Puerto Vallarta last month for 8 days, then it was Thanksgiving, now Christmas is coming so I had to back down on the garage time.
Hope to get the body on the chassis this week. I'll update my build thread soon.
There's on guy on the Factory Five forum that is putting 2 Chinese turbos on his Coyote engine. My guess it's probably going to be uncontrollable.

And I agree, coyotes seem to love boost, so in that featherweight car it should be an absolute riot!!

tptrsn so you're the gentleman Nick Cooley talks about. He's in one of the 5 series groups with me on the good ol' book of faces. Cool dude, he freakin' loves that thing, every time there's a chance to show off that FMI he's all over it lol...

    I guess so!

As much as he loves that car, I told him a while ago it's clear to me I built it for him. Just didn't know it at the time. Lol.

Makes me super happy to have been able to sell it to someone who enjoys it WAAAAAY more than I ever would have.

I'm pretty damn jealous right about now Jim. That porter at Two Fools was great!

As for that Volvo, I've seen that sucker before, and I am definitely thinking of risking the wrath of my wife when I tell her my next build is going to be something like that.

    Return of the dkhead!?! Nice.

Remember to get deadpool status you have to claim:
    - its super easy and you're gonna for sure be able to stuff turbos in their no problem.
    - you're gonna make XXXX megawhorespowerz for sure
    - bonus points for extra specific technical / fabrication claims: something like "yeah I'm DEFINITELY gonna retrofit some S65 camshafts into my M62TU, cuz I got a buddy with a lathe and should be super easy..."
