Hello There
first thread here on Bimmerforums.
you may or may not know what the BBS front lip is and for those that dont your about to. BBS ran a short line of aero for e36 back in the late 90s to early 2000 they didnt do to well so it was pulled from production. the front lip which is for non-m bars personally is the nicest i have ever seen. but also the rarest. you cant get these lips anywhere . nada. nil. not even reps. believe me i have tried. so the option to get one doesn't arise often.
so im currently chatting to a dude who has a genuine e36 bbs front lip.
now he is willing to get some prices on having moldings made and rolling a few reps out. however we need to know whether there is enough interest in the product to do it.
let me know if you would be interested and i will sort out pricing for everyone.
here is some pics of said lip.
Were any of these replica bbs lips made? I want one.
Bump for interest
I like that...... a lot.... But, to be 100% honest, I have some items I needs to take care of before I can be legitimately interested in buying this
Price will be a deciding factor, but it does look very nice.
I am definitely interested depending on cost.

Even if you don't take mouldings you should 3D scan it for others in the future. 3D printing should make creating a part like that cheap and easy in the next 5ish years.
I would buy one.
Looks good but how much lower does it hang from stock? My car is lowered and I already have problems with clearing things.
Green convertible is mine.
So are these things pretty much unobtainium at this point? Literally the only lip I've ever seen that looked correct.

Werent these on walmart.com for like $80.
I would definitely pick one of these up.
I'm still interested in one if there are any available

Pretty much. $60 about.
Probably won't happen in this day in age, to be totally honest.
Yeah, you might spark some interest, but most kids in the e36 now can't be bothered when there's garbage $50 ebay lips to buy instead.
Just being realistic, I would say just save your time and money, unless you somehow are able to start a money up front group buy AND you have someone locked down who can make, mold, and reproduce it. Something of that size won't be 3D printed for another 10 years at least, due to the size of 3D printers right now, the bulk of material it would take, and the DAYS of run time.
