    New Front Euro Bumper

Here are some pictures of my newly restored euro bumper with integrated brake scoops and Bosch 6" fogs. Fogs are connected to the existing harness and wok with the factory switch.

Quite pretty and well done. Was this strictly Fernando or a Fernando-Jodie effort?

....BTW I guess you did not see the "Keep Off the Grass" sign.

Nice Fernando, you'll burn up the road with those beams.

This one is strictly Fernando. Jodie is the engineer/tech, I'm body and paint work.

Thanks much. Mine was a US-spec car also. I started with the bumpers, then converted to five-speed, then installed a euro engine, then a 3.07 euro diff and finally this last bumper mod. I kept breaking the hard to get under the bumper foglights so thus the brake scoop conversion.

about a rear shot ? my understanding is the rear bumper is difficult in alignment with the conversion ?

Rear is more involved. Takes some cutting and welding of the under bumper valance.

Thanks for the kind words. I had the good fortune in having a good donor car.

I love the world front bumper but the Early US and world rear bumpers always bugged me for some reason. How much did the conversion run you?

I came across this picture earlier. Does anyone know what rear this is?

The conversion didn't cost anything except for some materias=ls (mainly part. I had a donor car and I did all the work myself.

Your attached picture is os a euro car with an M-Tech valance. BTW the easiest way to convert a US car. The M-Tech valance does not require a welded euro valance to cover the opening when the US bumper is removed. But they are hard to find and costly.

    Fernando,

Looks very nice. My first reaction was that you must be expecting some really nasty coastal fog conditions. If that happens, you're ready.

Jim, you know it's all about the bling.

The problem I was having was my harder and harder to find euro foglight lenses were lasting only a few weeks before succumbing to cracking from road debris. So I got rid of them and converted the openings to brake cooling scoops.
Then I found these great NOS Bosch foglights in Germany that I couldn't pass up.

Did you connected brake ducts to the discs?

That's a BMW M-Technic body kit, although it has been modified for those four exhaust pipes.

Brake ducts point into the OEM brake ducts.
