Those build videos don't really bother me. They can't make but so much off them and lots of companies used my photos of the wagon for their sites etc and it's not worth my time to try and fight with them about it. I did try at first with companies using my images..
Thanks for the compliment! You should do it.
Love that M3! Maybe we should trade.
How does the vehicle drive post-swap? Greatly enjoyed following your build, btw. The documentation and the storytelling is flawless.
aural joy

I feel like they are a little dark but they are growing on me.
Looking good!
how fun is she to drive??
Naw, man. Naw.
RDs win.
This is the wheel it's just whether I keep them in this color or strip and powdercoat in a lighter tinted or just clear.
It's the most perfect car I have ever owned. It's very smooth and quiet but has tremendous power. The suspension is perfect as well. Just the right balance for a daily driver type. I think I am going to change the exhaust to get a more aggressive tone though. Right now you can't hear it hardly at all from the back. Just the sound of engine and induction plus the supercharger whine.
A stunning car, and a beautifully engineered build. I hope she is a keeper!
I must admit when I first started watching this build (before I had even joined the forum) I was unsure about the Caramel interior with a white car, but no, it really 'pops' just nicely to set the car apart.
Andrea
This is just incredible... well done!
i think the dark finish on those wheels looks too aggressive for an e38...maybe a more subtle color....even just a simple machine finish (or something similar)

Yeah I plan on having them redone.
Few photos my friend Michael Lee took today at cars and coffee.
WOW
Did you end up sticking with those wheels?
Yeah but having them powdercoated in a lighter tinted clear with no bronze over brushed. More like a dark silver.

I like that you went with black stitching steering wheel. The tri colored one looks over the top to me.
Agreed.
Took some cool photos this eve. And some from a few days ago. Test wheel should be done with lighter powder coat this weekend. Once I am happy with the tint, I will have the ones on the car done.
what exhaust setup are you going with, man i don't even frequent these forums much anymore but when i do i come straight to check for new pics...i love this build....

Do you have tint on the windshield? If so, what is the %?
Sexy as always!
Exhaust is currently m5 manifolds to m5 cats. Then reduced to e38 stock system. Totally silent which is pretty cool but I'm wanting some growl lately.
Windshield has the stock uv film which I love on e38s. Almost blue. Wish I could get all the windows done like that.

This car is so sick! You are a lucky man
Thanks! I'm anxiously awaiting the updates on the test wheel.
Dude you gotta get an exhaust on there and record some videos for sure
